Montgomery
In
the heart of this historic town is a cluster of shops and
business dwellings that retain much of the country charm of
bygone days.
The
spirit of Montgomery is anything but old-fashioned.
Single-family homes, townhouses and apartments of almost every
design have been added. Because strict zoning requirements
have maintained a spacious wooded environment, the area has a
lovely suburban atmosphere. And since new homes, for the most
part, have followed the pattern of Montgomery's heritage, a
traditional flavor is predominant throughout. As a wonderful
place in which to reside, this neighborly community is second
to none. It has an education system and dedicated residents
who work continuously to preserve the rich quality of life.
Transportation

Cincinnati
Transit Company bus transportation serves the village with
convenient time schedules. Four expressway interchanges within
easy access are I-71, I-75, I-275 and the Cross County
Highway. Driving time to downtown Cincinnati is approximately
20 minutes.
Churches

The
Catholic churches are All Saints, St. Michael and Good
Shepherd. Protestant churches within the village limits are
Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, and Assembly of
God. Many other denominations outside the village are a short
distance away.
Hospitals

Bethesda
North Hospital is within the village limits, with well-used
emergency room facilities. Jewish Hospital Kenwood is within a
ten minute drive.
Schools

Montgomery
is in the Sycamore School District. Grades Kindergarten
through 4 attend Montgomery and Maple Dale Elementary. Grades
5-6 go to Edwin H. Greene Intermediate School, grades 7-8 to
Sycamore Junior High and then Sycamore High for grades 9-12.
An ultra-modern high school on Cornell Road with an open
student union and indoor pool is the pride of the community.
The Catholic elementary schools are All Saints and St.
Michael. Catholic boys attend Moeller High and the girls go to
Mt. Notre Dame or Ursuline Academy. Higher education is
available at Raymond Walters Branch of the University of
Cincinnati in nearby Blue Ash.
