Mitchell is an appealing small city well known for its lovely
homes, tree lined streets, and strong community spirit.

of the oldest suburbs in the area, it remains today one of the

school education in Ft. Mitchell is provided by the Beechwood
Independent School system. A college prep curriculum is

extracurricular programs that include athletics and music.
Blessed Sacrament serves elementary parochial students.

Madonna and Notre Dame. Special education classes are provided
at Redwood School including speech therapy, learning
disabilities, and classes for Cerebral Palsy victims. Nearby
Riverside Good Counsel School provides education for the
mentally retarded. The Northern Kentucky Montessori Center
offers classes for pre-school and primary students.

Fort
Mitchell shopping area serves daily needs. Major shopping
areas in downtown Cincinnati, Covington, Crestview Mall and
Florence Mall can be reached within 15 minutes.
Recreation

Fort
Mitchell Country Club, which has a golf course, tennis courts
and swimming pool, and Beechwood Swim Club is a private club
within the city. A public golf course and public parks are
nearby.
